After more than two decades at the forefront of medical sleep innovation, my journey took an unexpected personal turn when sleep and airway issues began affecting my own children. What started as a professional mission suddenly became deeply personal.
As a father, I experienced firsthand the worry, frustration, and often confusion that comes with navigating childhood sleep and airway challenges. Despite my extensive background in sleep medicine—working with prestigious institutions like Cancer Treatment Centers of America, University of Illinois-Chicago, and leading sleep technology companies—I found myself in the same position as many parents: searching for comprehensive solutions to help my children thrive.


At the heart of every successful business lies a vision to transform lives and communities. This belief drives Michael Hawn, founder of iMarket Sleep, a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience, exclusively in the dental and medical sleep industry.
Having held influential roles at noted organizations such as Phoenix Medical Group, Watermark Medical, SleepMed, and SomnoMed North America, Michael has gained invaluable insights into the challenges dental and medical sleep providers face. His work with SomnoMed exemplifies his impact—winning the Medical Initiative Excellence Award in 2022 for spearheading an initiative that achieved a remarkable 143% growth in a Kansas City dental sleep practice, escalating their appliance sales from just 7 to 97 in under a year, from just one practice.
Throughout his career, Michael has partnered with esteemed institutions, including Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and University of Illinois- Chicago, respectively, where their team implemented and oversaw their Home Sleep Testing (HST) programs, and University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs, where he helped to elevate Oral Appliance Therapy into it's sleep therapy treatment recommendations. His collaborations with healthcare giants such as HCA, Cerner (now Oracle), the University of Indiana, and the University of Kansas have cemented his reputation as a trusted strategic catalyst in the field.
